Tunnel construction is a complex worksite where many different variables need attention. In addition to rock and soil, major tunnelling projects involve large volumes of another essential element: water.
In short, where there are tunnels, there is water and how you manage and transport it has a significant impact on both cost and success.

Pumpsnabben AB
As the CEO of Pumpsnabben AB, Stefan Eksudd has a busy work schedule and relies on solid tools and equipment to help him be as productive as possible.
Pumpsnabben AB was founded in 1979 in Stockholm, Sweden, specialising in service, repair and construction of pumps. With over 40 years of experience in the field, they know what is needed to get the job done.
Since 2020 they have worked on one of their most extensive projects yet – a tunnel construction in Stockholm.
“It’s a big project for us. Before we accepted, we had a discussion with Lakers about taking the next step. This discussion made us confident – we said yes, and the rest is history.”
Bet on the winner
Lakers makes it possible for companies to invest without taking up high-risk loans or going to the bank. Lakers always bet on the winner (their members) and let their family go for it.
It wouldn’t be possible for us to take this kind of project without help from Lakers. The investment in new pumps and equipment has made us more robust, and we can continue service work as long as this project is running.
Stefan Eksudd, CEO Pumpsnabben AB
Stefan also talks about the experience of a higher level of trust and openness from customers when they learn that Pumpsnabben is part of a bigger organisation – an organisation that supports and encourage them.
In it together
Efficient and secure information flows are a central factor in the performance of decision making, processes and communication. For Lakers, it’s all about getting information from the people who have it to the people who need it.
“We always inform each other about what’s going on. Because of this, Lakers can appoint the necessary measure so all companies can succeed. It’s easy to buy a company but challenging to make it stand on its two feet. The combination of knowledge, experience and a genuine goal for every company makes Lakers strong.”
Building a common culture for all the members of the Lakers family is critical in making information flow.Sharing experiences, knowledge, and expertise is a key factor in growing and thriving together.
“By being part of Lakers, you got everything you need – all the possibilities to grow and develop. Combined with a wish to share within the companies – it makes you want to succeed together just as much as you do alone.”
